BENAMÔR

Benamor Handcreme

Benamôr was founded in Lisbon in 1925 by a mysterious apothecary who made miraculous ointments in his laboratory at Campo Grande nº189. His carefully handcrafted beauty recipes were based on natural ingredients grown under the Portuguese sun: Lemon, Rose, Aloe Vera or Almond. Packaged in charming Art Deco tubes, it was an instant hit and all the Lisbon beauties were addicted, including Queen Amélie herself. Some of Portugal's most iconic beauty recipes come from Benamôr, such as the "Créme de Rosto", the "Miracle Face Cream", or the famous hand cream Alantoíne.

A century later, Benamôr's original beauty recipes are still handcrafted and prepared with love and care by skilled artisans, trained by a century of savoir-faire. Sustainably formulated with 95% high potency natural ingredients selected for their unique benefits, such as lemon from the Algarve or salt from the Aveiro lagoon, offering high quality formulas for the most demanding consumers seeking recognised skin benefits. 10 million units are produced per year.
